MATH BINDER: A 1 - 1 1/2 inch, 3-ring binder with 5 section dividers is required for math. The purpose of the binder is to help students with organization, to serve as a reference tool, and to encourage students to take ownership of their learning. When done well, their math binder can become a point of pride!

- Warm-ups: Short/quick problems that will be worked on at the beginning of class each day.
- Class Notes: Explanations and sample problems on the concept being covered. Students are responsible for copying all notes given by the teacher in class.
- Vocabulary: These will be kept in their binder for reference as needed.
- Assignments: Students are responsible for having all completed assignments in their binder.
- Extra Paper: Keep a supply of lined paper handy!
